From the machine and the gauge to the report
Three layers and no retyping along the way.
Data sources
Data comes straight from the machine and the gauge
The run signal and cycle counter reach the system through a gateway. The scale and the caliper send the result at the press of a button on the gauge. Nobody retypes anything.

Shop floor
The operator does everything on one tablet
On the same screen they record production, describe the downtime reason, perform a quality inspection and indicate the batch. One login, four languages.

Office
Management gets answers, not tables
OEE, process capability and batch history are calculated from the same data. The shift report arrives by e-mail, and the morning meeting is ready before six.

What is needed
A short list. Most plants already have it today.
At the workstation
A tablet or a computer with the Chrome or Edge browser. If readings should enter automatically: gauges with a data output, by cable or Bluetooth.
At the machine
Nothing, if you start with recording on the tablet. A gateway and a signal from the controller or a sensor, when you want to count from the machine.
In the network
Wi-Fi or a wired network on the floor. The system runs in the cloud or on a server in your network.
In the organisation
One responsible person on the plant side and a quarter of an hour of training for operators.
