LPA
Layered Process Audit
Short, frequent process audits performed by different levels: leader, manager, director.
LPA checks whether the standard is applied every day, not only on audit day. It only makes sense when every non-conformance ends in an action.
What it looks like in the system
Smart Control runs process, product and system audits with an OK/NOK checklist. A layered audit is a repeated process audit with a short checklist, and every NOK answer can become a CAPA action.
